In November 2024, I coordinated the second edition of the U.S.-Mauritania Energy Dialogue, expanding the format to include key private sector stakeholders from both countries. This enhanced engagement explored challenges and highlighted specific investment opportunities in Mauritania's energy sector and beyond, fostering deeper collaboration and strategic partnerships.
In May 2024, In this trade mission, I coordinated and led a concurrent trade mission involving a high-level public-private delegation from Mauritania. The delegation included the Prime Minister, the Minister of Economy, the Ministry of Energy, and various business leaders. They participated in two major events: the Offshore Technology Conference in Houston and the U.S.-Africa Business Summit in Dallas. My role involved ensuring seamless participation and fostering bilateral trade relationships.
In January 2024, I coordinated and led the inaugural U.S.-Mauritania Trade Mission to Las Vegas, where a significant delegation from the Mauritanian private sector attended the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2024. The objective was to expose Mauritanian businesses to cutting-edge technologies and foster trade relations in the tech sector.
